There's one word that sums up New Mexico Highlands University's professors: passion. Our professors have a passion for their fields and share that passion with their students. Many of our faculty have been recognized for their research and work by agencies like the National Science Foundation, National Geographic, NASA, and many professional organizations. And, unlike larger research universities, our professors teach at every level from freshmen to graduate courses.

Welcome to YOUR ACES Webpage. We hope you will use this ACES webpage as a primary source for current information about your university, your college, your department and your major.
Before you jump to your search, please know that we care about you as a person and we value the contribution you make to the college and university we all love. You have a home in the Academic Programs Office and in every Department office across the ACES college.
ACES and NMSU are unique - not only do we have eight academic departments and five Extension specialist departments on our Las Cruces campus, but we also have 34 Extension offices organized in three districts, and 12 Agricultural Science Centers, that reach every county of New Mexico. With our four community colleges (Alamogordo, Carlsbad, Dona Ana, and Grants), we have not one campus but 53 campuses in every corner of the Land of Enchantment. As if that was not enough, we have the New Mexico FFA Association's headquarters and the New Mexico Department of Agriculture right around the corner from the main ACES campus. We are also unique in that 14 of our 22 bachelor's degree programs are not offered anywhere else in New Mexico. Add in five doctoral and 13 Master's programs and you are a part of a truly great college.
Please let us know what we can do to help you. Stop by or call anytime, you are always welcome!
